Timothy is a leader in McKinsey Digital in Southeast Asia. He works with companies and governments on accelerating technology adoption to serve their customers and citizens better.
Drawing on his past experience in telco and public service, Timothy works with companies and governments across a wide range of topics across strategy, transformation, and organization. His expertise spans AI strategy, tech-enabled operations transformations, capability building, and new business building.
Examples of Timothy’s recent client work include:
- developing a sector-specific AI strategy across markets in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
- designing and launching a new venture factory for an Asian oil and gas company
- designing new business models and a market entry strategy for an Asian mobility leader
- leading an accelerator program for mid-cap companies in Singapore
- creating an end-to-end lifelong career guidance and learning ecosystem in the Middle East
Before joining McKinsey, Timothy served as chief data officer and director of strategic planning and HR policy for Singapore’s Prime Minister’s Office. He previously held roles at the Ministry of Finance, represented Singapore at the UN, and contributed to national education and defense policy.
Outside of work, Timothy enjoys time with his wife and three children, particularly when it involves hiking and exploring nature.
