Frontier is the over $1 billion advance market commitment (AMC) to purchase permanent carbon removal before 2030, by McKinsey Sustainability in partnership with fellow founders Alphabet, Meta, Shopify and Stripe. Frontier aims to accelerate the development of permanent carbon removal technologies and expand the global supply of carbon removal.
Net Zero Built Environment Council
The Net Zero Built Environment Council aims to accelerate the decarbonization of the built environment. The council brings together a group of over 40 companies across the built environment ecosystem, and McKinsey Sustainability is a founding partner.
Hydrogen Council
The Hydrogen Council is a global CEO-led initiative with a united vision and long-term ambition for hydrogen to foster the clean energy transition. As a knowledge partner to the council, we jointly publish reports on topics such as the state of the global hydrogen economy.
