In addition, we develop deeper market insights on specific topics, such as retirement and retail distribution channels, to further inform and empower our clients' in their strategic planning.

The Global Growth Cube incorporates bottom-up views on industry dynamics to shape scenario-based short and long-term AUM, net flow, and revenue forecasts by country, client segment, and asset class. Our projections are developed using McKinsey’s proprietary Neural Network Forecasting Model and further refined through review with McKinsey’s global network of country experts and partners to incorporate structural shifts and evolving industry dynamics.

The Global Growth Cube web portal provides users with easy access to historical and forecasted industry data, customizable heatmap charts, topical deep dives into specific trends impacting client demand, and McKinsey publications that bring asset management-specific perspectives together in a single access point. Through the online portal, asset managers can host their own “mirror data” to analyze AUM and revenue market share and flow capture rates by geography, client segment, and asset class.
